Mark Filanowski Obituary
Mark Lewis Filanowski, 93, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Joan Filanowski, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025.
Mark is survived by his five beloved children: Joanne Filanowski Stonaha, Barbara Filanowski Gladue, MaryAnn Filanowski, Teresa Filanowski Kristopik (Paul), and Jacqueline Filanowski Allen (Anthony).
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Filanowski Farms, 381 Wheelers Farm Rd., Milford, CT 06461. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Church of Saint Cyril and Methodius, 79 Church Street, Bridgeport, CT 06608 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Milford CT.

Going to the farm every year as early as the weather would allow is one of the greatest pleasures in my life. Seeing all the members of the Filanowski family was such a joy esp. Grandpa Mark. I will miss his presence but I am sure I will feel his spirit in the beauty of the beautiful flowers that bring all his customers (friends) so much joy. RIP Mr Mark!

May the love of friends and family carry you through this difficult time. Some of the joys of springtime were my visits to your farm for picking out my flowers after visiting, joking and discussing choices with your Dad. He was a wonderful man who loved his customers, friends and family. He will be deeply missed. RIP Mr Filanowski.
