Mark, when I found out you knew Kyle before I did, I always wanted to hang out with both of you together. I regret we were never able to. You were a good friend to all of us, even more so through your service in Iraq. I'll never pass Dancing Bear without thinking of you.

I only knew CPL Mark Hatfield for a short time. But during that time, I was a junior marine, and he was my team leader. CPL Hatfield was very knowledgeable in the Marine Corps and in civilan life. He was a great leader and he will never be forgotten. From all your boys at MG PLT ATBN, you will always be a great leader, marine, friend, and brother. My condolences goes out to all of CPL Hatfield's family. Semper FI.
