My thoughts and prayers are with Marlene's family. She was a friend and classmate of mine while attending Bassick High School. We had many classes together and she made being there such a joy. God Bless her and may God comfort everyone she left behind. I'm sure she is watching down on all of you.

My prayers, thoughts, and condolences are with the family of Marlene. She was a classmate from Bassick High School and I'll always remember her as a very nice person. In school I remember she had very long hair. When several of us from Bassick had a mini reunion a few years ago at Beverly's Pizza in Black Rock, although her hair was much shorter, she was still as nice as ever. We all enjoyed remembering and talking about old times, and I think I can speak for all of us when I say Marlene will be missed. May God bless and comfort you all now and forever.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.
