Mary Bob
Mary Curma Bob, 95, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late John S. Bob, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025 at Orange Health Care Center with her loving family by her side. Mary was born on April 16, 1930 in Slovakia, and was the daughter of the late John and Barbara Pretrusanska Curma. She was employed by Dresser as a packer, and was a member of the Baldwin Center, Slovak Catholic Sokol Wreathe #1, and the Dresser Retirees Club. Mary is survived by one daughter, Evelyn Story and her husband Thomas of Milford, CT, and one son, John G. Bob and wife Kelly of Stratford, CT, four grandchildren, Eric Story and wife Laura, Samantha Battista and husband Michael, Andrew Bob and Emily Bob, two great-grandchildren, Gianna Story and Eric Story, and one sister Barbara Curma Micak. She is predeceased by her later husband John S. Bob, and her brother John Curma. Services were held privately.
