Mary Hrapchak Obituary

HRAPCHAK Mary Louise Hrapchak, age 81, of Bridgeport, the beloved wife of the late John Hrapchak, entered into rest on Thursday, February 5, 2004, at St. Vincentas Medical Center, Bridgeport, after a brief illness. Born in Braddock, Pa., on October 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James and Barbara (Wagner) Santo. In the 1960as she had been a chaperone for the St. Raphaelas Buccaneers & Musketeeras Drum & Bugle Corps, as well as the Marionettes and the Skylarks color guard. Mary was an avid bingo player and enjoyed the activities at the North End Senior Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her beloved daughters, Bobbi Petitte and her husband, Richard, of Bridgeport, and Laura St. Germain and her husband, John, of West Haven; her loving grandchildren, Anthony Saglimbene and his wife, Sanchia, of Stamford, Jill St. Germain of West Haven, Aric St. Germain and companion, Angie Mackewich, of West Haven, and Kim Farrington and her husband, Mark, of Bridgeport; her cherished great-grandchildren, Aric Michael St. Germain, Emma Rose and Kate Marie Farrington, and Molly and Arthur will miss you; and one sister, Lucille Saksa of Milford; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Andrew and Frank Santo; one sister, Phyllis Suhanovsky and her beloved grandson, Michael Philip Saglimbene. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, February 9, 2004, at 11 a.m. DIRECTLY in St. Andrewas Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport. Entombment in St. Michael Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS. Arrangements entrusted to the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to the St. Jude Childrenas Hospital Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
