Sister Mary Lynch, SSND
Sister Mary Lynch died on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 3030 Park Ave. in Bridgeport. She was born on June 15,1941, in New York City. Sister is survived by her brother, Joseph and his wife, Rosemary. Sister Mary entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1959. She was a teacher and religious education director in Puerto Rico, CT, NY and NJ. Sister moved to Villa Notre Dame in Wilton in 2015, from there she ministered to the Caroline House in Bridgeport.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street in Bridgeport, CT, on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Viewing is at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, in Bethel, CT. Memorial contributions may be sent to School Sisters of Notre Dame, Development Office, 345 Belden Hill Rd., Wilton, CT 06897.
