Mary Varga Szlinsky

SZLINSKY Mary Varga Szlinsky, age 92, of Fairfield, wife of the late William Szlinsky, passed away peacefully on July 13, with her family by her side. Born and raised in Hungary, Mary was a Fairfield Town resident for nearly sixty years. She had worked for the Dictaphone Corp of Bridgeport until her retirement. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Adano of Bridgeport and a son William ( Bob ) Szlinsky and his wife Gail of Bridgeport. Mary was a loving and devoted grandmother to Chantel Upchurch and her husband Mark of Fairfield, Anthony Tranquillo III of Fairfield, Tara Moreno and her husband Antonio of Stratford, Aaron Szlinsky of CA, Bobby and Jason of MA and Errol of Florida. She also leaves behind her precious great-grandchildren Eli William Upchurch, Luca Eve Upchurch, Anthony Tranquillo IV, Kiara Jade Moreno, Abby, Katie, Matthew, Tori, Gabriella, Elizabeth, Meara and Bridget. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday ( TODAY ) at 2:30pm in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. There will no prior calling hours. Her family would also like to thank the nurses, caregivers, kitchen staff and everyone at the Carolton on Windsor Wing who has made her long stay there as pleasant as possible.
