Maureen was born April 30,1950 in Yonkers, New York to the late William and Catherine Cope. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicky Stancarone. Calling hours at Spear-Miller Funeral Home will be Wednesday, September 19, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and memorial mass will be September 20, 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield, CT 06825. My condolences to the whole family. Maureen always told it like it was and she loved you no matter what. I grew up in her beauty shop and have fond memories. When I was older Maureen always reminded me of when I was a young boy I told her I was going to buy her the biggest diamond ring. Maureen is our diamond in the sky!
