Michael Wisniewski Obituary

WISNIEWSKI Michael A. Wisniewski, age 60, of Derby, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at the Hilltop Nursing Center, Ansonia. Michael was born in Patuxent River, Md., son of the late Edward and Mary Kapusta Wisniewski, and had been a Derby resident for many years. He was employed by Avco Lycoming in Stratford for more than 25 years. Michael loved Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis music and Avanti cars and was a member of the AOAI Organization. He was the loving brother of Mark E. Wisniewski of Seymour, Matthew H. Wisniewski, U.S. Navy of Arlington, Va., Michelle M. Choo of Coppell, Texas, Margaret Yamamoto and her husband, George, of Hawaii, and Mary Ann Directo of Colorado. He also leaves two nieces; one nephew; one uncle; and several aunts and cousins. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby. His funeral will leave the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Derby. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Derby. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael Church, 75 Derby Avenue, Derby, CT 06418, the Bethel Assembly of God Church, in Madison, or Blessed Mother Teresa Missionaries of Charity in Bridgeport, through the funeral director.
