Michael Zawadski Obituary
Michael Zawadski, age 44, of Stratford, passed away May 27, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Michael was born in Bridgeport, CT. and was a longtime area resident. He graduated Foundation High School in Milford, CT. Michael was a member of the East Coast Swamp Fliers RC flying club and loved flying planes with his good friend Tim Maud. He was predeceased by his wife Melissa Fama Zawadski. Survivors include his mother Roseann Giodanella of Bridgeport; his father James Zawadski and his wife, Alice of FL; his step-daughter Amanda Fama of Georgia: his brother Aaron Zawadski and his wife Lindsay and their children Alexandra and Adalyn of Stratford; his grandfather Alfred Zawadski, and uncles Joe Zawadski of Oxford, CT and Norman Aanensen of Bridgeport; his step-sister Jennifer Carpino and her children Jaimie, Jason, and Julian Hinton of Waterbury, CT; and several cousins and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Unity Hill United Church of Christ 364 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. All are also welcome to greet the family on Saturday at 4:00 in the gathering hall after the memorial service. Contributions in memory of Michael may be made to Roseann Giordanella. Roseanne, I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. I know how you feel and will pray that you can get through this time. Michael always had a nice smile every time I saw him. I will always remember him that way
