Nancy Pettway Obituary
Nancy Ann Pettway ~ 55 years old.
Sunrise, August 4, 1962 ~ Sunset, July 5, 2018.
Nancy, age 55, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 5, 2018 with her daughter Nyesha by her side.
Nancy was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT, to Daisy Lue Carson and Moses Pettway, Sr. Nancy graduated from Bassick High School in 1980 and has since dedicated her life, her love, and her loyalty to her family and friends. Though her time was unexpectedly cut short here on earth, one thing for sure is that her love for others and willingness to help and provide will never be forgotten. She leaves to cherish her memory two children; Nyesha Pettway, Marqueece McPhail; and one grandchild, Aniyah Janae Pettway. Nancy was predeceased by her son Andre J. Pettway on May 27, 2017. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 165 Logan Street, Bridgeport, CT 06607. Viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. and service to follow. Interment will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery. Words of comfort and sympathy notes can be mailed to:
