Dear Nor, I was so sad to read that you are gone...it's been a long time and I've often thought about you and wondered how you are. I will never forget the day I met you and Gretchen and the years when we were roomates with all the funny stories. You were really a great person to hang out with. When I hear Earth Wind and Fire, I always think of you...I will remember Als Place, the Seagrape and picking you up from work. You knew everyone in Fairfield, always had fun and loved the beach...I'm sorry I didn't keep in touch in recent years, life is busy with work & kids...I regret not catching up with you sooner. I will miss you, your unforgetable laugh (I can hear it now) & comical stories. You were like a big sis to me. I hope you are at peace. Much love to you Nor, I will miss you...Kim

My condolences to the Prendergast family. No one had as much fun in the hallways of Ludlowe and the streets of Fairfield and Southport as we did. We will all be in Heaven someday traveling different hallways and streets, and I nominate that Noreen show us the way down them with her laughter.

Dear Dennis, James and Family,
We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Noreen. In all sincerity her laugh will always be one of the earliest recollections of my time in Fairfield. When Noreen was in the room everyone smiled....that is a true gift. All of Heaven now gets to enjoy her presence. God Bless.

I am so sorry to hear of Noreen's passing. I've known Noreen over 15 years - the last 10 has been long distance since I've moved to Georgia. She was always upbeat with a laugh and her special spin on things. I will surely miss her.

Nor, I loved the stories of your trips to Quinn and Mary’s in California… especially the day you had asked me to join you one year, we went and had the time of our lives… the RED HOT Mustang Convertible… wind in our hair and sun in our faces driving down the California thruway… How you loved sitting on the beach watching the sunset… best of all was the Del Mar Race Track… I will never forget that adventure with you… it was a blast… you will be truly missed along with your beautiful laughter Love you Nor…

To the Prendergast Family.....sorry this comes belated....but with no less sincerity....please accept my deepest sympathies to you all at Noreen's passing. Everyone mentions her laugh and how contagious it was...well, it was, and I for one will remember it fondly when she came into Chadwix. Ironically...Craig was probably bartending! How strange they ended up passing away on the same day! My thoughts and prayers go out to you all...may happy memories sustain you and keep her spirit alive.

Dennis, Paddie, Jimmy and Kevin,
I'm grateful I had the chance to see Noreen during my last visit to Fairfield. After so many years I'd forgotten just how funny and kindhearted Noreen could be. And always up for having a good time. It was a special evening that I'll remember for ever. I'll miss hearing that great laugh of hers.

Dear Prendergast Family-
My sincerest condolences. Noreen and I spent many hours together at water therapy. I was always taken aback by Noreen's courage in overcoming obstacles, but never more than a visit we took to Gaylord last fall. Everyone told me of her fight to survive. Her emotional survival was the most impressive of all- she was really an inspiration. I will miss her smile and distinctive laughter, her passion and kind heartedness. I know how much she cared about her family and enjoyed being with you.

Dear Nor,
For as long as I can remember, you have always been a part of my family. I often talk about the champagne and cookies you, me and Ellen got loaded on at my house on College Place, or New Years Eve at the "Naut" when we drank and sang with George every possible 50's song we could remember and the time the three of us took off from the "Naut "to dance the Twist with "The Chubb Man" Himself in Staples High Auditorium.
You took such good care of my nephews and Molly and the whole family .In case you never knew it, you were loved so much for it and I Thank You so much from the very bottom of my heart. God summoned a very special angel when he called you. You will always be happy in Heaven but most of all you will be healthy, once again. Thank you so much for being you and making me feel welcome whenever we saw each other. I'll see you on the beach one day, Nor but until then, I'll forever miss you. I don't even know what to say. Noreen, you & I have been through so much during our lives. Good & bad, up and down, we were like sisters. And even though we had not seen each other very much in the last few years I always considered you my dear friend. You always took such good care of my kids, really the whole family, especially Molly, because you loved us all. My heart is broken.
