Olivia Sylvia Obituary
Olivia Sylvia, known to her friends and family as Oly, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday October 29. She was born April 25, 1926 in Mexico City, Mexico. She lived most of her life in Westport. She is survived by two daughters, Maria Carrano of Bridgeport, CT and Olivia Caruso of Ridgefield, CT; three sons, Joseph Sylvia and his wife Donna of Stratford, CT, Manuel Sylvia and his wife Colleen of Newtown, CT and Gerald Sylvia and his wife Cheryl of Easton, CT; she had 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Olivia liked playing cards and playing bingo with her friends at the Ogden House where she resided in Wilton; her favorite past times were knitting, watching futbol and spending time with her family. Services will be held at Assumption Church in Westport, CT at 12 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017.

To the Sylvia Family
Its sad to see my Tia departing this world but I know in my heart she is going to be going to where we all want be eventually. She is not suffering nor is in any pain and is experiencing nothing but total joy.
I miss the days of childhood spending time over at your house my home away from home. The door was always open as was the love you had for me. You find very few people who did so and you will be missed for it. Those days of Saugatuck will never be forgotten and will truly missed until it is my time to go home and see all who have gone before me all who are in my heart and memories.
