Pandora G. Dionis, age 89 of Trumbull, CT, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2018. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, James Dionis. Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on November 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Chris and Hermione Gregory. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren and attended their sporting events, concerts and many activities. She was also devoted to her church and was a member of the Teuta Ladies Society. She volunteered for the St. Vincent's Women's Auxiliary where she organized many fundraising activities. One of her favorite pastimes was playing bridge with friends and family. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Katherine Kane and brother Nathan Gregory (wife Nancy), sister-in-law Nancy Gregory and son-in-law David Snedegar. She is survived by her loving children, Sandra Long (Michael), Andrea Snedegar, Laura Denisevich (David) and Ted Dionis (Janet). She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, Caitlin, Christine, James, Julia, Anne, Caroline, James, Clara and John. She is also survived by her brother Ted Gregory, her sister Gloria Gregory, brother-in-law Jerry Kane, and sister-in-law Pauline Dionis and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. George Albanian Orthodox Church, 5490 Main Street in Trumbull, CT 06611 with Fr. Sergei Bouteneff officiating, followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends are invited to call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at St. George Albanian Orthodox Church, with Trisagion service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. George Albanian Orthodox Church in memory of Pandora.
