Patricia Captor Obituary

Captor, Patricia A.
Patricia A. Farrell Captor, age 76 of Monroe died Friday, February 15, 2013 in her home. She was the beloved wife of Russell B. Captor for 54 years. Born in Peckville, PA she grew up in Justice, PA and graduated from Keystone Junior College. She later attended Sacred Heart University. Mrs. Captor was a longtime member and very active in the Episcopal Church in Pennsylvania and Connecticut. She volunteered with St. Paul's Family Table for 8 years feeding 80-100 nursing home residents monthly. She worked as an administrative assistant for many companies including Raymark, Eaton Corp., Acellis, General Electric and Bridgeport Hospital. In addition to her husband Russell she is survived by her daughters, Renee S. Captor and her husband James Greenwald of Syracuse, NY, and Kim J. Captor and her husband Patrick Smith of Trumbull, and three grandchildren, Casey and Molly Smith and Daliah Greenwald. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00am in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 25 Church St, Shelton, CT, with Rev. Jennings Matheson officiating. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Wednesday 4-8pm in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Dear Russ and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I think of Pat often and have fond memories our Eaton/Axcelis days together. I was shocked and saddened to hear this news, I will miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. God bless and take care.

So sorry to hear of this great loss to your family. I have many great memories of Pat from our time hosting Family Table and working with Pat at Raymark. She loved her family and life. She will truly be missed.

I was sorry to here of Pat's passing. It has been many years and many memories that we have shared. Good old Scott HS and the Class of 1954. She is in a better place and is done with her suffering through her illness. Prayers to her family. I know she will be missed.
