Marchetti, Patricia S.
Patricia Shields Marchetti, age 76, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her pride and joy, her four sons. Born in Bridgeport on February 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes Giblin Shields. She was a secretary at Congregation B'nai Israel for over 35 years prior to her retirement. Pat's greatest joy was spending time with her "precious blessings" – her sons, their spouses, and her 10 grandchildren, who she was especially proud of. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 29 years, Donald J. Marchetti. She is survived by her son Douglas, his wife Sheila, and their children Alyssa, Kyle and Jessica of Trumbull; Christopher and his husband Matthew Galik of Oakland, CA; Daniel, his wife Kerri, and their children Katie, Megan, Maura, Erin and Patrick of Trumbull; Steven, his wife Denise, and their children Nicholas and Joseph of Seymour, as well as several cousins and their extended families. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of the MICU at Bridgeport Hospital for their compassionate care. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
