My mother just called and told me of this very, very sad news.

I have such wonderful memories of Pati (when we were 15, she spelled her name like that, and I'm not sure if she ever stopped.) She never really knew it but she was the one who really helped me through my parents' divorce.

Spending weekends at her house on Indian River Road in Orange was the best. We went roller skating every weekend at Skateworld and double dated when we were older.

I always regretted the fact that we didn't keep in touch once we graduated from high school.

The last time I saw Pati was about 5 years ago at Chuck E Cheese when she was throwing Chad's birthday party and I was hosting my son's party. That was the last time I saw her. I really regret that we didn't keep in touch after that.

Pati was the best. She always made me laugh and we always had such fun together.

My thoughts, prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with Andy, the boys, Mr. and Mrs. Cochrane, Michael, and the whole family.
