Peter Gaudio Obituary
Peter A. Gaudio, age 82, of Shelton, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Lesniak) Gaudio. Peter was born in Derby on November 14, 1941, son of the late Lindo and Frances (Monaco) Gaudio, and was a lifelong Shelton resident. He was a Tool & Die Supervisor for Bic Pen until his retirement. Peter loved to golf and play pool. He enjoyed taking his dogs for walks in the park and taking his boat out on Lake Zoar. Peter also raced homing pigeons with a group of friends. He is the beloved father of James P. Gaudio and Diana Glynn and her husband Mark. He also leaves two nephews, Brian and Tony Gaudio, and his "grand-dog", Gracie. Peter was predeceased by his brother, Joseph. Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. On Wednesday, his procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, in Shelton. Entombment will follow at Mt. St. Peters Garden Mausoleum in Derby. Memorial contributions are requested to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org .
