Dear Marilyn & Family

Phil was bigger than life in our life and all those who really knew him. A contagious personality that made everyone he met feel special.

Our wonderful memories will keep him close to our hearts and remember everyday the positive influence he played in our life. We will truly miss his spirit, jokes, golf lessons, colorful verses and most important, his pure friendship!

Love, Linda & Bob

The rock i was going to lean on now is gone.....the laughter in my heart is silent. Words cannot express the void in my life now that my Dad & Uncle Phil are gone. You taught us so much, especially how to laugh at ourselves. Who else is going to tell me I have a spot on my shirt, or how to hang a spoon off my nose, or "how long did the dr. say you had to wear those orthopedic shoes..." I will miss you Uncle Phil, more than you'll ever know & will think of you every time I make meatballs.....without the raisins.

Love, Carol xoxoxox

To my cousins and aunt,

My heart is heavy with the loss of U.Phil. I still can't believe he's gone. He was so special to me and I will miss him terribly.I'll always remember when he would call on the phone and impersonate someone. He would always make my day and make me laugh. I learned so much from him but mostly how to laugh at yourself and keep things light.

As Phil Collins says, "You'll be in my heart, for always and always."

God bless....I love you and will keep your smiling face forever in my heart. Love, Nancy

p.s. I hope he's eating Borden's swiss cheese in heaven with my Dad.

Dear Marilyn and Family.

I cannot begin to express Phil's loss to all of us, he was a brother to me. In the three years we shared together, we lived a lifetime. We shared so much of our lives and had much to enjoy. I remember the first time I met him at Quail Creek in Mid April 2003 just before Easter, I had my son Robert and my Brother-in-law Steve out to play golf and we were making the turn on the Quail course and the starter asked me if Phil could play with us. I saw this big man with the beard and smile on his face and a cigar hanging out of his mouth. I said anyone who smokes cigars ia OK in my book and I had my son Rob ride with my Brother-in-Law and Phil rode with me and that was the start of a beautiful Friedship. We were inseperable ever since. We were so much alike and would finish each other's sentenances. One would think of something and the other would know. I will always have Phil in my heart and thoughts. I loved Phil as a Brother. He knew how to draw a croud and he out did himselve in the end. Whatever you need I will be their for you and your family. A lifetime in three years, must be a record.

Love to all,

Len

Marilyn, so sorry to hear about Phil's death. Even though I have not seen you and yours for many years, this news opened a door to many memories of high school and our young married lives. Please convey my thoughts and affection to all of the children ... was thinking of Kathleen's and Michael's births when you and I were such children ourselves! Phil was a spirited guy for as long as I can remember and I know your life together has been a good and interesting one!

Dear Marilyn and Family,

I was so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. Fran, told me today. Although we have not seen each other for a very, very long time I hold you and the memories in my heart. The "Jersey Shore" vacations with our small children, who are all grown now. Life has presented many changes - my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Phil,

Your only agenda in calling was to sincerely and simply ask..."How have you been?"

You had the enviable gift of being a spirited story teller. "The Fish and The Bear" was brilliant and all yours.

Our hearts are heavy with your passing Phil D. Rest in peace knowing that you touched our lives in ways we will always remember with great fondness and love.

Marilyn and Family, thank you for sharing this remarkable man. May God be with you all.

Dear DiGennaro Family,

I am deeply saddened to hear of Phil's passing. I played guitar with him for many years at St. Francis, in the folk group. We had so much fun in those days -- I will never forget it. May the memories you cherish give you strength and peace. God Bless,

I met Phil in 1985 thru a mutual business associate and came to respect him as a talented real estate professional and a man with a good heart.

I was shocked to read of his passing.

My sincere condolences to his loving family.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Philip R. DiGennaro. I worked with Phil at TIAA for 13 years before he retired and it was a great experience. He showed us love and compassion. He made all of us who worked with him a family - one that I truly treasure. To Marilyn and family may God Bless You and comfort you at this time. Please know that Phil was well loved and is in our prayers.

Dear Marilyn and Family

Ever so sorry and emotionally draining to hear of Phil's passing.

God bless and God speed in recovering from such a premature loss.

Lynne and I will be there whenever you need. Just a call and we'll help indeed.

Phil was truly my closest friend for over forty years. I'll miss our weekly calls, his big bear hug and cheekly kiss.

He called me on Friday. We wished each other happy birthdays and spoke of golf at KA's wedding.

Wishing you courage and strength to overcome. Keep family and friends close in support.

Love

Dennis, Lynne and Family
