Randi Steeves Obituary
Randi May Steeves, 60, of Milford, beloved wife of Kenneth Steeves, Sr., passed away peacefully on December 14, 2014. She was born on August 21, 1955 to the late Herman George and Ruth Marie Olsen Venheim.
Randi retired as a flight attendant from United Airlines. She always had a camera in her hand to capture special moments and was creative in many areas including painting and doll making. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she will be truly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
In addition to her husband, Ken, Randi is survived by her loving children, Sarah (Chris) Taft and Kenneth (Katie) Steeves, Jr.; her cherished grandchildren, Avery Ann, Tripp, Evan and Mason; her siblings, Annette Eddy, John Venheim, Nils Venheim and Georg Venheim; her parents-in-law, Kenneth William and Doris Ann Steeves; and many nieces and nephews. Randi was predeceased by her sisters June Sady and Ellen O'Neil.
Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT. Interment will be private. To leave memorial contributions, donations can be made to Black Rock Congregational Church, 3685 Black Rock Tpk., Fairfield, CT 06825. Cousin Ken and family.....It was with shock when I opened FB for the day and discovered that Randi had passed. It seems just like yesterday when the two of you were getting married and we were all camping out for the big occasion. Though many miles were between our families we shared our fun days and times through the technology connection with all the pictures of our families and grandchildren and all those crafty things we did......my sisters and I are all in disbelief that such a vibrant person is now an angel in heaven. May the family find peace in that now....

Dear Ken and family,
I just pulled up my facebook and was shocked an so saddened to hear about Randi's passing. I loved her. She was such a sweetheart and so full of love for everyone. Randi and I were in training together for United flight attendants. She was my main and loyal support, as I hope I was hers. I would not have made it threw training without her. We just talked 2 weeks ago when she was shopping at Michaels for ornaments for her granddaughters wreath. We talked about me coming there and visiting her in January.
May God's blessings be with all of you during this very difficult time.
