My prayers to the family. I met Randy for the first time in Atlanta Georgia at a ExxonMobil Safety Meeting. We became friends as we both shared the same duties in Safety, Health and Environmental, he in Connecticut and me in Georgia. He was always a phone call away and he was very passionate about his work. Missed him as soon as he left ExxonMobil. Again, condolences to you Ruth and Alex.

My condolences and prayers go out to Ruth, Alex, Trooper Millie and family. Randy you were a dear friend, big brother and living history mentor.
I was on the receiving end of your famous Hancock stare a few times. I’ll never forget the conversations and times we shared and perhaps even try to watch my deportment from time to time.
I was blessed to have you in my life and will miss you. Until we meet again General...

To Randy’s Family, I worked with Randy at FSS for about 6 years and he has always been a wonderful co-worker and friend. He was one of those people you could say was a joy to work with because you know he always cared, did his best, and spoke from the heart, and enjoyed a joke. He also gave helpful advice generously and kindly mentored new employees to FSS. I will miss his big stature and personality and know the world will also miss the truly good man he was.

Ruth, Alex & Family,
I was deeply saddened to learn of Randy’s passing. He was a very knowledgeable safety consultant to our company for several years. During that time he and I worked very close and managed to enjoy lots of laughs together. We were both very proud of our military service and shared many “war stories”. He never ceased to amaze me with his incredible, uncanny knowledge of motion pictures, sports and history. I always considered Randy a friend, not just a business associate. He was larger than life and will always be missed. Now, may “The General” rest in peace and may the rest of us know that we have a new angel to watch over us. We were blessed to have known him.

Dear Ruth, Family & Friends of Randy
Please accept my most sincere condolences at the loss of your loved one, Randy.
He was a fine man, gentleman, scholar and 'Living Historian' who portrayed so well the noted Union Civil War General Winfield Scott Hancock, a hero of the Battle of Gettysburg. Hancock was known as the 'Superb' for his gallantry and so will Randy also be commemorated by his friends and comrades in COUG (Confederation of Union Generals).
He will always be missed and remembered, a tribute that we all hope for.
With sympathy
