SEYMOUR, CT: Richard A. "Rich" Baldwin, 65, a lifelong Seymour resident, entered into peaceful rest at his home on April 22, 2022. Mr. Baldwin was born January 3, 1957 in Derby, beloved son of the late Arthur W. and Ruth (Hager) Baldwin. Rich retired from Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford where he was employed for 41 years. He was a communicant of St. Nicholas Parish-St. Augustine Church. Rich was an avid sports fan and was passionate about his NY Yankees and Green Bay Packers! He was an accomplished bowler and golfer, who also formerly played with the Valley Adult Softball league. Richard was fondly referred to as Ricky by his family and will be greatly missed. He leaves his loving family, including his brother, James Baldwin (Aileen), and his sister, Karen Wasilewski (Jim), all of Seymour; his nieces and nephews, Nichole Baldwin, Kara Baldwin Houston (Thomas), Emily Baldwin Ryan (Bryan), Michael Wasilewski (Brooke), Patrick Wasilewski (Andrea), and Daniel Wasilewski; he is also survived by several cousins and great-nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A funeral service in celebration of Richard's life will immediately follow at the funeral home at 10:30 am Interment will follow at Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
