Rich & I met at a Red Cross Blood bank 1988 at General Electric in Bridgeport. The technician was rechecking my plus because it registered lower than the norm. Rich asked if I was a runner. Yes, we were both runners. With this we became friends. Rich introduced me to the world of road racing & his son Brian. Brian and I quickly became friends, training partners and racing partners.
We ran many races side by side. Rich encouraged & trained Brian and myself to train together for marathons. In 1990 we ran Stamford & NYC marathons.
Great memories
Life changing.
I am forever grateful for Rich´s friendship & guidance. Such an amazing friend / coach !
Rest peacefully & run easily Rich

I am so sorry for your loss . Your Dad was a kind man and proud of his family . I would see him at Brian running races . He always had a big smile of pride when he watch his son accomplishment . He would talk about his family with much joy . Sending love, strength and peace .

I´ll miss you Cousin Richard. Thank you for your support and encouragement. If not for you I would have never even thought of running the NY Marathon let alone finishing it. Thank you so much. You were an awesome person. Rest in the peace you richly deserve.
