Richard Woline Obituary

WOLINE Richard Warren Woline Jr., age 55, beloved husband of Rebecca Kear of Milford, died on Monday, September 29, 2003, at his home. Son of the late Richard Warren and Olive E. Wright Woline Sr., he was born on July 27, 1948, in Oak Park, Ill., and was a resident of Milford for more than 35 years. Mr. Woline was the developer and owner of Saranor Apartments, an affordable housing complex for seniors and the handicapped in Milford. He was a graduate of Yale University and an avid wine collector. In addition to his wife, he leaves two sisters, Judith Claire Nelson and her husband, James L., of Sioux City, Iowa, and Gwendolyn Joyce Woline of Skokie, Ill.; 11 nieces and nephews: Andrew and Charles Nelson, Margot Rogers, Krista Haswell, Kheila and Kendra Doutt, Jordan and Graham Walker, and Chris, Megan and Cara Hopkins. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2003, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. followed by a service at 7 p.m. in the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, on the green, Milford. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Richard Woline Memorial Fund, c/o Saranor Apartments, 169 Platt Street, Milford, CT 06460.

Becky,sorry for your loss.Dick was a very good hardworking and honest man.Also very smart and caring.It´s been almost 21 years and I still think of him very often and had a dream about him last night.
