During my early days at Sikorsky my position required working closely with Bob often. He had such a humorous outlook I never left a meeting laughing so much. He will be missed.

Dear Linda & Family - Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Bob. We cannot believe it has been 30 years since we celebrated your wedding - what a time it was! And, from Dominick, Bob was my best friend and mentor at Sikorsky (33 yrs.) The many great times we had together over the years, the great parties, luncheons, bars, only we who shared these good times can appreciate those good times. We love you all. We share your grief. Until we meet again. Most sincerely, Diane & Dominick Alterio

My dad said today Bob was probably his longest friend, he is 90. Growing we spent much time with the Geaney family. Summer parties, super bowl parties, dinner at the Caddlemen then on to the NIT. My dad, Bob,Bill Madden, Don Keegan, Harry Rentz all the way back to the Polo Grounds Had season tickets. When you got to New York the VFW would have ribeye on the table when you arrived. Not sure how they got home. We met Bob at the Super Bowl in Tampa. He took us to Berns steakhouse, Bob said his favorite in US. He was right been back 10 times over the years. Many great memories. RG Rest In Peace my friend. Prayers for all of you
