Robert M. Giordano, 78, of Seymour, beloved husband of Mary Jo (Nespoli) Giordano, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on June 30, 1943, he was a son of the late Dominic and Josephine (Ruggiero) Giordano. A barber by trade, Robert was a retired employee of Sikorsky Aircraft with 40 years of dedicated service. In retirement he enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, and travel. Robert was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He treasured time with his family, especially his granddaughters who loved their Pop more than anything. The unconditional love he gave will always live in their hearts. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his beloved wife of 49 years, Mary Jo, survivors include two loving sons, Michael Giordano (Daniela) of Downers Grove, IL and Eric Giordano (Sarah Leary) of Oxford, five cherished granddaughters, Sophia, Bellamy, Emerson, Olivia and Clara Jo, a sister, Rosemary DeLisle of Orange, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Carmine Giordano and a sister Anna Mari. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe. There will be no calling hours.
