Robert Komaromi Obituary

KOMAROMI Robert J. Komaromi Jr., age 47, of Bridgeport, died on Wednesday, January 15, 2003, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Bob was born in Bridgeport, son of Robert and Arlene Komaromi, and graduated from St. Emery’s grammar school and Notre Dame high school. He was employed with the Mohegan Sun Casino as a dealer and also the Connecticut Post. Bob was formerly a supervisor for 16 years with Textron-Lycoming and had been active as a coach with the North End and Trumbull Little Leagues and also Babe Ruth. In addition to his parents of Bridgeport, he is survived by three sons, Brian, Jeffrey and Kevin Komaromi, all of Trumbull; three brothers, Michael S. Komaromi and his wife, Bobbi, of Seymour, Wayne P. Komaromi and his wife, Charlene, of Bridgeport, and Mark J. Komaromi and his wife, Michelle, of Bridgeport; his maternal grandfather, Gilbert Parmalee and his wife of Florida; godson, Jason Werthman and goddaughter, Lexi Komaromi; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Debra Komaromi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
