Robert Rodriguez, age 25, of Bridgeport passed away into the Peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2012 in his home. Robert was born in Bridgeport to Roberto Rodriguez and Ivelisse Ferman both of Bridgeport; In addition to his parents he is survived by his Girlfriend and soon to be mother of his child Shanira Santiago of Bridgeport; his sister Jocelyn Malave; his nieces, Eliza Rodriguez and Saquira Baez; nephew Delvondre Ramroop; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him; He was predeceased by his sisters the Late Carmen Ramroop and the late Jasmine Rodriguez; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport from 6-8 P.M.; Final disposition will be private at the convenience of the family. I am deeply sorry for your loss. This terrible news took us by surprise. I also lost my son 4 years ago and know and understand your pain. It will never go away, but God will give you the strength to go on with your life. Bobby is by Gods side, and that will give comfort. Remember all the good times you had with him. God Bless you and your grand kids. You have them to live for.

wow... I am terribly saddened by this news. I hurt for your parents and the rest of the family. I know my son Jeremy, your cousin was close to you and I also pray he finds the strength to make it through this. when i heard this news I just couldn't believe it. I have prayed in your name and I am comforted in knowing your resting in paradise. I'll miss you until we meet again. love you
