Robert "Bob" Slesh, Sr.
Robert "Bob" John Slesh, Sr., 78, a lifelong resident of Stamford and a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025.
Born on October 3, 1947 in Stamford, to the late Joseph and Helen Slesh. Bob was a gifted and dedicated professional woodworker whose craftsmanship touched countless lives. His meticulous, beautifully made pieces continue to be cherished by those fortunate enough to have them.
Bob was predeceased by his devoted wife, Lauraine Slesh (née Coutermash), and by his brother, Joseph Frank Slesh, Jr. He is survived by his son, Robert J. Slesh, Jr. of (Spring Hill FL) his step-daughter Cathy M Cullen of (Easton, CT) and his grandsons, Nicholas Slesh of (Fairfield CT) and Daniel D'Attilo of (Easton, CT) all of whom will hold his memory in their hearts.
He treasured his time with his friends known fondly as The Breakfast Club. Bob was known for his humor, easygoing spirit, and loyal friendship. His presence brought warmth to every room and his kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him.
Bob will be deeply missed but his legacy will continue through the love he shared and the craftsmanship that he leaves behind. In lieu of flowers: Please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation which can be visited at https://www.alzfdn,org
