Condolences from the Kirchgasser family. We had the pleasure of being neighbors with Bob on Meadow Ct. He was the consummate neighbor- always there to offer advice, kindness or a helping hand. He was also a good friend to our late dog Sounder who we are quite sure was more loyal to Bob than to us! We shared many fond memories especially pilgrimages to watch Tom Brady and the Pats light it us in Foxboro. We will miss him deeply

I have had the pleasure of knowing Bobby (as I always called him) as far back as the early 70´s when he worked at Pepperidge. We also bowled in the same league in Fairfield for many years. He was a great guy and a fun character. He referred to me as Laddie all the time since I was of Scottish heritage and understood the reference. We had a great time sparring with that. He will truly be missed by everyone he touched. God bless him.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bobby thru my Dad Chris Schick. Oh what a bowler he was and I so appreciated it when my Dad became ill and Bobby brought him his famous clams and linguini, it made my Dad so happy when he visited. My deepest condolences to your family.

Living on South Pine Creek Road for umpteen years, my boys Michael and Chris when they were young would play outside and eventually end up at Mr. & Mrs. Thomas' house. I always knew that my boys were safe when they visited to see either, Scott or Brian and Mrs. Thomas would let me know they were there. Mrs. Thomas, Brian and Scott, our family is so very sorry for the loss of your husband and dad. We all have fond memories of all of you and talk about those years when we are all together. May he be at peace. Much love

I will miss my Uncle dearly. All the summer picnics, clamming as kids, swimming in our pools, fishing in the creek. Have wonderful childhood memories thanks to our large and loving families. He was a big part of this. And he was always there to help out when needed. Specially when my Dad passed. Can't say enough about how wonderful he was. Love and miss you so much.

I had the great pleasure of knowing Bob (BT) for many years. He was the father to my dearly departed friend Michele (Shelly) and also my husband Ed and I worked with Bob for many years at Pepperidge Farm. He was always there to help Ed out of a jam at work. He was a funny guy, always quick with a joke. There was only two good fishermen in Fairfield and he was both of them and he wouldn´t be afraid to tell you. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. We take comfort in knowing he is with the Lord and those that have gone before him. Wishing his family, comfort and peace during this difficult time. Rest easy BT
