Robert Vechiola Obituary

VECHIOLA Robert L. Vechiola, age 61, of Derby, son of the late Dr. Leo R. Vechiola and Marian Milano Vechiola, died suddenly on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at his residence. Bob was a life long Fairfield resident before moving to Derby seven years ago. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart University, with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and received his M.B.A degree from the University of New Haven. He was employed at Highfield Manufacturing and had retired from the Connecticut National guard with over 20 years of service. Private services will be conducted by the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. To light a virtual candle, visit us at www.abriola.com.

I knew Bob since the day he was born. He was the light in my late aunt and uncle's life. Although I haven't seen him in several years my prayers and sympathy goes out to my cousin Jim(his brother).
