Robert (Wes) J. Weston Sr., age 60 of Orange passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 27 years to Denise Root Weston. Wes was born in Bridgeport on September 30, 1953 a son of the late Richard Weston Sr. and Josephine Lorenzano Weston. He was a flooring installer and the owner of Weston Carpet Service. He enjoyed cruises and was a car enthusiast, he will always be remembered by all that knew him for his annual 4th of July picnics and stunning firework displays. In addition to his devoted wife Denise, he is survived by his son and best friend Robert J. Weston Jr. and his long time girlfriend Lindsay Burnham of orange and two bothers; Richard Weston Jr. of Beacon Falls and Stephen Weston of Bridgeport. He was fondly known as Uncle Bobby to his nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the infusion center at the Swim Center of St. Vincent's Medical Center. Friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Raymond Chervenak officiating. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
