Ronald W. Kelly, 78, beloved husband of Susan S. Kelly, went home to the Lord on October 31, 2025. Born on July 17, 1947, to Ernest and Ann (Kuzmik) Kelly, Ron grew up in Milford, Connecticut, and later made his home in Shelton. A man of deep faith, he was an active and devoted member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church since 1983. Ron was known for his gentle spirit, patience, and genuine compassion for others. He was an avid reader who loved the simple pleasures of life: fishing, camping, gardening, bird watching, Bible study, and spending time with family and friends. His quiet strength and kind heart touched all who knew him. He was proud to have served his country as a member of the Army National Guard and later earned his MBA from the University of New Haven. Above all, Ron's greatest joy was found in his family, his cherished wife, Susan, his children, Shaileen Landsberg, Maureen (Daniel) Lucas, Christine Stanton, and Doug (Ellen) Porter, and his grandchildren, Coleman, Henry, Gavin, Ted, Amelia, Nathaniel, Josiah, and Luke, who brought light and laughter to his days. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia (Joseph) Tuozzola, Sister Kathleen Kelly, nephews and nieces, and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, and brothers, Raymond and Ernest Jr. His family will be hosting a funeral service on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 1pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Chapel, 25 Church Street, Shelton, CT.
