Rosemary Leonetti Daniel, age 75, of Newtown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on November 8, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Concetta Alfano Leonetti. Rosemary was a retired employee of Sodexo Food Service and worked in the Town of Stratford School System. She was also formerly employed by Whitney Farms Golf Course for over 25 years, where she made many long-lasting friendships. Rosemary was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cared deeply for her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her three loving children, Steve Daniel, Karen Sando and Lisa Bonazzo and her husband Robert Sr., six cherished grandchildren, Richard Sando, Melissa Travali, Christopher Bonazzo and Stephen, Krystal and Jessica Daniel, four adored great grandchildren, Tyler, Brianna, Mia and Mason, a brother, Salvatore Leonetti, two sisters, Nancy Hocurscak and Sally Soboeiro, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Daniel, grandson, Robert Bonazzo Jr., and a brother, Anthony Leonetti.
