Sally Ann Schwaller
Sally Ann (Terrel) Schwaller, age 82, of Huntington Connecticut passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mars Hill, Maine on July 19, 1943 she was a daughter of the late Louis and Marion (Jones) Terrel. After college Sally resided in Connecticut with her loving grandmother Helen Jones. Throughout her employment her involvement has fostered many lasting friendships. From bank teller, travel agent to her most rewarding role with the Shelton Public School System as a project coordinator and youth services advocate. She was compelled to giving back to kids and was instrumental in the efforts to support and implement the DARE Program. Sally was an avid bowler, gardener and also enjoyed going on shopping sprees. She loved camping trips with her family and also looked forward to traveling with her boa beauties. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her loving children, Douglas Szigeti of Seymour and Cindy Malick of Loris, SC, her cherished granddaughters, Nicole Mikita of Little River, SC and Casey Mikita of Loris, SC, her long-term companion, Al Pettit, her sister, Diane Merletti and her husband Michael of MA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Bill, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Stephen and Brad Terrel.
A Celebration of Sally's life and prayer service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Friends may greet the family starting at 11:30 a.m. with a service held at 1:30 p.m. Her celebration of life will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
