Sheila Simon Obituary

SIMON Sheila E. Sinkking Simon, age 60, of Fairfield, died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. Mrs. Simon was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of Evelyn (Thompson) Schwartz of N.Y., and the late J. William Sinkking, and received her Bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University. Mrs. Simon was a founding member and past president of the Healthcare Business Women's Association. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Marshall Simon of Fairfield; her children, Jennifer Simon and her husband, Robert Kiihne, of Concord, Mass., Eric Simon and his wife, Amanda Marsh, of Deering, N.H., Philip Simon and his wife, Angel of Warwick, Mass.; her grandchildren, Zachary and Jared Kiihne, Reed and Forest Simon, Samuel and Sara and Mary Simon; her sister, Andrea Eaton; and by her brother, Bill Sinkking. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday (TODAY) September 19, 2006 at 11 a.m. from The Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road in Fairfield, with interment following at Temple Israel Cemetery on Richards Ave. in Norwalk. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bennett Cancer Center, c/o Stamford Health Foundation, 9 West Broad Street, 9th Floor Stamford, CT 06902.
