So sorry to learn of Stan's passing, and applaud his long life and many accomplishments. I knew him for at least a dozen years at Sikorsky when he worked in Manufacturing Engineering and then in Purchasing where he headed the "Should Cost" team. When that group got dissolved during a cutback he joined our group in the Materials and Process Engineering Lab (the Met Lab as the older employees called it). He was only with us for a few years before retiring and was always great to work with. I was privileged to be one of those speaking at his retirement party where he and another Metallurgical Engineer of similar varied work history, Fred Conrad, also was hosted for his work in the Met Lab at the conclusion of his long career. Sadly, although somewhat younger, Fred passed a couple of years ago. My best wishes to Stan's large family. I will always remember Stan for the great guy he was.

So sorry to hear of Stanley's passing. I worked with Stanley for many years at Sikorsky. He was such an intelligent man, so thorough in his job, and so warm, pleasant and friendly to work with - always a smile. It was a pleasure to know him. He will be missed by many.
