With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Starr Zuckerman, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on July 30, 2025, at the age of 87.
Starr was born on October 17, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, the beloved daughter of George Samuels and Betty Guttenmacher. She was a woman of strength, grace, and an adventurous spirit who touched countless lives with her warmth and wit.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Jack Zuckerman, who passed on March 5, 1991, and her son-in-law, Jerry Todd.
Starr is survived by her loving children: Gregg Zuckerman and his wife Tiffany, Randall Zuckerman and his wife Kristin, and Reina Todd, wife of the late Jerry Todd.
She was a proud and doting grandmother to eight grandchildren: Jack Zuckerman (wife Elizabeth), Abigail Baggett (husband Colton), Alexander Zuckerman, William Zuckerman,
Charles Zuckerman, Lucy Zuckerman, Kaitlin Brozek, and Andrew Brozek.
Her joy only grew with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Baker Zuckerman and Forrest Baggett.
Starr is also survived by her beloved sisters, Sherry Delgado and Hope Roberts, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and a bond that remained unbreakable.
A woman of many talents, Starr was both an accomplished accountant and a passionate restaurateur, blending precision and creativity in every aspect of her work. She had a deep love for travel, and her journeys around the world were a testament to her curious soul and adventurous heart.
Starr's legacy is one of love, resilience, laughter, and family. She will be remembered for her unwavering support, her brilliant mind, and the warmth she brought into every room.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday September 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home located at 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to charity of your choice.
