Stephen Strange Obituary
Stephen Strange, Fairfield, passed away on July 3, 2018. He leaves behind his sisters, Libby Strange of Long Beach, NY; Terri Powell and husband Steve of Standish, ME; Peggy Strange and husband Rich Croce and their son Gordie of Killingworth, CT. A brother Rich Strange of Wells VT predeceased him. Steve thrived on projects and was always lending a helping hand. The outpouring of love, support and help from his neighbors in this difficult time has been amazing and a tribute to all Steve has done in his life for others. Steve was a huge sports fan, especially of the NY Mets. His nephew Gordie (whom Steve adored) will always remember the awesome day they spent together this past June sharing an afternoon game. Visitation and celebration of Steve's life will be held on Monday, July 9 (his 61 birthday) from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Lesko and Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield, CT. with a rememberance at 7 p.m.

Steve had lived an amazing life even though it was rather short and just shy of his Birthday. Steve was a great friend. He was the kind of friend that stands by you when you needed someone to be there. Steve was in trouble at one point and needed help! I offered my help and a shoulder. That's how I became close to Steve.
When I met Steve , I didn't know how to react. Steve turned out to be a really nice person and ended up being on of my best friends.
Steve's death was sudden. I remember when I heard the news I simply could not believe it. I have realized that Steve lived his life wonderful and humble.
Steve was well-loved and had done so many things for myself, my daughter Chanta' ,brother Anthony and so many great things on earth and I'm sure he'll do much more in heaven.
I will forever be grateful to have known Steve. All the memories I have shared with him will forever be cherished and remembered.
Steve will forever live in my heart and in our hearts. We will meet again.
