Suzanne Novik Obituary

Suzanne Roberts Novik, 75, of Weston, CT passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on December 29, 2022 at Regional Hospice in Danbury after a courageous cancer journey.
Suzanne was born in Bridgeport, CT to Samuel I. Roberts and Bettie Beck Roberts. She attended Andrew Warde High School, graduated in 1965, and went on to earn a degree in Fine Arts from The University of Cincinnati. Out of college, she was a well-respected and fondly remembered high school art teacher for a short time prior to being self-employed as an Interior Designer, she co-owned N&S Design before founding Suzanne Novik Interiors. Her interior work was featured in numerous publications and books. Work was her passion, but she also enjoyed art, reading, music, dancing, and cooking. Time with family was always special to Suzanne. She was a role model of generosity, donating to many local charities and organizations.
Suzanne is survived by her life partner and reunited high school sweetheart of 27 years, John Lang, two children Aaron (Ari) Novik, Mari (Rich) Jackson, two stepsons Jon and Scott Lang, grandchildren Brianna and Dean Jackson, Jack and Ryan Lang, and one brother, Lawrence (Agnes) Roberts. Additionally, Suzanne is survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was predeceased by her parents Samuel and Bettie Roberts.
A spiritual memorial service of life and love will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 10 am, at Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT. I just learned about Suzanne´s passing.
So sad to hear about this. She was such a wonderful person , and she also made my home such a special place to live. I really enjoyed spending time with her when we worked on my home together. Please accept my deep condolences.
