Thach Nguyen Obituary
Thach T. Nguyen, age 60 of Shelton, passed away February 4, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born in Quang Nam, Vietnam, February 5, 1964, son of the late Tham and Nguyen Nguyen. He worked as a machine operator for Beta Shin for many years. He was a member of the Vietnamese Catholic Community of Bridgeport at St. Augustine Church of Bridgeport. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar, gardening, aquariums, and being with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Kim Ha Nguyen, his sons An, Danny, and Kenny Nguyen, his brothers Thai and Nghia Nguyen, his sisters Hue, Chau, and Thanh Nguyen, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Linh Nguyen. Calling hours will be held Friday February 7, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10 a.m. directly at St. Augustine Cathedral Church, 359 Washington Ave., Bridgeport. So sorry for your loss! I had the pleasure of working with Thach for almost 30 years. I´ll always remember his smile and the joy he brought to me every time I saw him. He´ll certainly be missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.
