Theresa Ann Zavalko (Terry)
Theresa Ann Zavalko (Terry), age 97, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Born on March 1st, 1928 in Olyphant, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Zgola.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard R. Zavalko Sr., who she was married to for 59 years prior to his passing in 2007. Theresa was also the loving mother of Richard R. Zavalko Jr., (whom she was preceded in death by in 2013) and Robert C. Zavalko (and wife Marilyn). She is survived by her grandchildren, whom she cherished dearly and impacted greatly, Richard R. Zavalko III (and wife Theresa), Ashley (Zavalko) Kenyhercz (and husband Alex), and Jenna Zavalko (and fiance Vishak Kumar). Terry was also predeceased by her granddaughter Nicole (Zavalko) Davis.
Terry had unwavering love for her many siblings and was predeceased by sisters Anna Mae Tryon, Josephine Cyprowski and Tillie Huddy. She is also predeceased by brothers Frank and Joseph Zgola.
