Thomas McLoughlin Obituary
Thomas A. McLoughlin, Jr., age 61, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Terrylyn Attardo McLoughlin passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport on March 6, 1952, he was a son of the late Thomas A. McLoughlin Sr. and Barbara Kane Adamchak. He was employed at Federal Express as a dispatcher for 26 years and enjoyed reading and traveling. In addition to his wife Terrylyn of 32 years, survivors include two sons, Sean McLoughlin of Brooklyn, NY and Ryan McLoughlin of New York City, a brother Gerald McLoughlin and his wife Kyung-Ho of West Palm Beach, FL, a sister, Carole Murtha and her husband Joseph of Monroe, as well as two nephews, Joseph and Brian. Friends can greet the family on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. All other services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Rd., Wilton, CT 06897. Dear Terry and Family, I, by chance, met Kevin Carlton about two years ago and I asked about Tom. He said that he wasen't well. I'm very sorry for your loss of a real great guy. I remember the UPS carpool days, his word of the day and of course his wonderful wit and sense of humor. I will pray for you and your family in your time of sorrow and I will always remember Tom and the canoe trips we took.

Dear Terrilyn, My deepest condolences to you and your family. I miss those days of softball, The World Unserious and of course the Nautilus. We all had good times together with you and Tommy. I'm in touch with Charles Schultz and ran the thought of having a reunion. Tommy was a fun person to be around with especially with his socks and will be deeply missed by all.
