Trenske, Veronica Parzych Trenske age 81 of Stratford beloved wife of the late James J. Trenske passed away peacefully on December 21, 2013 in Hewitt Health and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her side. Veronica was born on March 27, 1932 in Pittsfield, MA and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Stella Parzych. She was employed by Standard Fuel Oil as a secretary for several years, was a member of the Ladies Adoration Society of St. Joseph's and a volunteer at St. Joseph's Church Stratford. Veronica was also an avid reader, loved traveling with her husband James and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren which were her life. Veronica is survived by one son, Joseph A. Trenske and wife Lisa of Waterbury, one daughter, Connie Trenske of Stratford, seven grandchildren, Mark Trenske, Jimmy Trenske, Stacey Delmhorst, John Lynn Jr., Robert Trenske, Daniel Trenske and Christopher Lynn, nine great grandchildren, Brian, Matthew, Gillian, Griffin, Elizabeth, Abigayle, Malachy, Verona and Colton, one brother, Theodore Parzych of Latham, NY, special nephew Steve Parzych and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband James of 56 years, Veronica was also predeceased by one brother, Bernard Parzych. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM directly in St. Joseph's of Stratford National Catholic Church 1300 Stratford Road Stratford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Michael Gitner. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home 2220 Main Street Stratford on Thursday (Today) from 4 - 7 PM.
