Vincenzo Marini
Vincenzo Marini, age 86, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to the late Fedina Marini. Born on July 7, 1939, in Torrice, Province of Frosinone, Italy, he was a son of the late Benedetto and Costanza (Testani) Marini and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport. Vincenzo immigrated to the United States in 1965 and worked in construction until his retirement.
He loved spending time outside in his garden and tending to his beautiful fig, peach, persimmon, and chestnut trees. He always made the best red and white wines, which he enjoyed sharing with all his family and friends. His greatest joy came from being surrounded by the people he loved. His smile could light up the room, especially when he was with his grandchildren and great-grandson. Always willing to lend a hand, Vincenzo could fix or build anything his family needed. He was a loving and generous husband, father, grandfather and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his devoted daughter, Francesca Piccirillo and her husband, David of Trumbull; three loving grandchildren, Diana Coulombe and her husband, Brandon, David Piccirillo, and Andrew Piccirillo; his beloved great-grandson, Luca Vincent; and sisters-in-law, Francesca Marini and Pasqualina Marini; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving daughter, Maria Marini; three brothers, Pasquale Marini, Giuseppe Marini, Enrico Marini; and two sisters, Elena Marini, and Gemma Antonucci.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Ave., Bridgeport.
