To Bill's Family,

I was so taken back today to hear of Bill's passing. My most heartfelt condolences are sent to all of you, especially to Carol, Bill and Elizabeth and to his brothers and sister. I met Bill and Nick while we were students at Manhattan College. Bill was a great guy who always found time for me and others who sought his care and advice and was willing to share a friendship.

My prayers and love to all of you. I am just sorry that I have only learned of his passing today. I would preferred to have been at your sides in person.

God bless you.

Bill

Carol,
I was so sad to learn of the passing of Bill. It was a suprise to me as I visited a nearby plot at St Mary's to see Bill's name. It was then, I became aware of his death. I have very fond memories of him when we worked together. He was such a nice and hororable man and I think of him ofter while passing your home. My deepest regrets to you and the children.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself … any man’s death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

I always enjoyed knowing Bill and especially when he helped me with some tough issues during my stint on the Board of the Greenwich Housing Authority.

With Affection,
