William Vasquez Obituary

VASQUEZ William 'Billy" Vasquez, age 54, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. He was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, on October 26, 1951, to Gloria Gonzalez and the late Victor Vasquez. A Danbury resident for many years, he attended the Southbury Training School and the Ability Beyond Disability Program. In addition to his beloved mother, left to cherish his memory are brothers, Victor and Carlos Vasquez, Juan Santa, Edgar, David, Salvador and Hector Gonzalez; sisters, Jennie Santana, Anna Cruz and Leonora Gonzales; special aunt, Raquel "Cookie" Cotto as well as a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2006 in Gospel Light Community Church, 222 Charles Street., Bridgeport. with Rev. James Miller officiating. Friends may greet the family from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment immediately following service in Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley St. Arrangements entrusted to George J.Peterson Funeral Home, 1041 Noble Avenue, Bridgeport.
