Arthur R. Keck, Sr, 85, of Marilyn Drive in Carlisle passed away at his home on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
He was born December 23,1933 in Carlisle to the late Arthur Samuel and Pauline (Renshaw) Keck.
He is survived by a brother, Ronald Keck, five children, Arthur Keck Jr (Spouse, Linda) Cindy Bowers (Spouse Robert, Jr) Patricia Seibert, Michael Keck, and Robert Keck. Arthur had six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Eugene Keck and Barbara Hall Keck whom he had been married to for 37 years before she passed unexpectedly in 1990.
He was retired from Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Newville Maintenance Office after many years of service.
He was also a lifetime member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #1299, White Circle Lodge, and Loyal Order of Moose #761. He also enjoyed watching and attending baseball and hockey games as well as horse races and was an avid fisherman. Arthur also enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.
Cremation services are provided by John W Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. in York. There will be no viewing or visitation. Private services for immediate family only.
