Charles Marpoe Obituary
June 27, 1944 - August 21, 2025
Charles "Skip" W. Marpoe Jr, 81, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully at his daughter's home on August 21, 2025.
Charles was born in Philadelphia, on June 27, 1944, to the late Charles W. Marpoe Sr. and Margaret "Peg" (O'brien) Marpoe.
Charles is survived by his son, Sean Marpoe (Andrea); his daughter, Danielle Steele (Andy); his three grandsons, Brandon, Marcus, and Joshua; and his five nieces; and nephews.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Carol (Stoner) Marpoe.
Charles worked in law enforcement as a Constable for many years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police #76, as well as the Masonic Lodge #260. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting guns.
Burial will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10 a.m., at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 343 McClures Gap Rd, Carlisle, PA, 17013.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Homeland Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.
