Clark Robert Stitzel age 86, of New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania died at 5.25 AM, Thursday, March 22, 2018, at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle, Carlisle, PA
Clark was born in Blain, PA on August 25, 1931, a son of the late Flora E. (Hess) Stitzel and Grover C. Stitzel
He attended Blain Union Schools
He served in the U.S. Army as a PVC T 27 during the Korea War from 1952-1953.
He Laborer Army Depot at Cumberland Army Depot for 20 years and then for the US Postal Service. When younger on area farms.
He was a life member of New Bloomfield VFW 7643.
Clark is survived by a brother, Dale Stitzel, of Carisle, PA. and nieces and nephews and great nieces and newphews. He is preceded in death by Mary Stitzel; Alta Stitzel; Phares Stitzel; and Elsworth Stitzel.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27, 2018 on from 6 to 8 PM at the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc., 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA with services at 6 PM by the Perry County Honor Guard. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2018 at 1 PM with full military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania with Rev.
